These Terms govern your use of aipdfreader (the “Service”), a page-by-page AI reading tool operated by the aipdfreader team (“we”, “us”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. aipdfreader is in early access and may change.
aipdfreader lets you upload documents and read them one page at a time with an AI “friend” that asks questions and discusses the material. It is a study aid, not a source of truth.
You are responsible for your account and for keeping your credentials secure. You must provide accurate information and be old enough to form a binding contract in your jurisdiction.
We fund and run the AI behind the friend — you don't bring or manage any model keys. Your first 50 pages each month are free; beyond that, continued use of the friend requires a paid subscription. Prices and limits are shown in the app and may change.
You keep all rights to the documents you upload. You grant us a limited license to store and process them (including rendering pages to images and sending page content to the model providers we use) solely to provide the Service to you. You represent that you have the right to upload and process each document. Do not upload content you are not allowed to.
Don’t use the Service to break the law, infringe others’ rights, upload malware, attempt to breach security, or abuse the infrastructure. We may suspend accounts that do.
The AI can be confidently wrong, especially on hard math and derivations. Output is for learning and must not be relied on as professional, legal, medical, or financial advice. Verify anything that matters. The Service is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for model-provider costs, errors, or downtime. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the Service in the prior 12 months (which, during free early access, may be zero).
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end access if you breach these Terms.
We may update these Terms; material changes will be reflected by the effective date above. Continued use after a change means you accept it.
