Is there a free plan?
Yes — you get 50 pages free every month, no card needed. The counter resets monthly, and inviting a friend adds 50 more pages to your allowance (up to 1,000). Pro removes the limit entirely.
What kinds of PDFs work best?
Anything dense you actually want to understand: research papers, textbooks, technical specs, contracts, standards. Upload any PDF up to 50 MB — the friend reads it page by page with you.
How is this different from asking a chatbot to summarize?
We don't summarize so you can skip the reading. The friend walks each page with you, explains what's really going on, and checks you've understood before moving on — you finish actually knowing the material.
What's the voice mode?
On Pro, you can talk with the friend out loud — it explains the page conversationally, you interrupt and ask anything, hands-free. Great for walking through a document like a podcast that answers back.
Can I cancel my subscription?
Any time, from your account's billing settings — you keep Pro until the end of the period you paid for, then drop back to the free 50 pages a month.
Is my PDF private?
Yes. Your documents are stored privately, only your account can read them, and other users can never see your files or your progress.
